Alpha version for the popular horror game

Dynamic Pixels gives you a glimpse of the stealth horror home invasion simulation game, Hello Neighbor. Another alpha release of the game, Hello Neighbor Alpha 2 will give you the opening sequences of the final game. The version can be considered as a demo as it contains the final art, a part of the intro, and even a portion of the tutorial. While it’s not the final house, it will give you an enjoyable experience of the horror game.

Uncover your neighbor's secret

Hello Neighbor is a game that combines stealth and horror game elements. It is all about sneaking into your neighbor’s house to find out the horrible secrets he’s hiding in his basement. In the game, you will play against an advanced, self-learning AI. You will have to successfully sneak around your neighbor and evade the traps laid out for you.

The game comes with a suspenseful, sandbox gameplay with plenty of environmental interactions and physics. It will provide you a constantly evolving experience as your neighbor’s AI counter all your moves and learn from you.

Enjoy better features

Hello Neighbor Alpha 2 lays out the final structure of the game’s art style. In this version, you can see loads of little touches, such as depth of field, the styled props, and, of course, the colorful-yet-disturbing scenery. You can also get a small tutorial house, as well as the opening sequence.

But what users can appreciate of this version is that it comes with a few enhancements from the previous releases. For one, it has an improved AI. The neighbor now registers things modified without his knowledge. He can also follow head-direction, so when he turns around, he can actually see around himself. This means it’ll be harder to sneak up on him.

However, that doesn’t mean that it will be impossible to hide from him. You can block his vision with objects. The alpha game also has improved stacking and throwing physics. More, it now allows you to peek through keyholes by holding the E key in your keyboard.

The AI also comes with an enhanced care loop which now includes added behaviors, such as taking a bath, drinking some milk, exercising, and sleeping. With this, you will have more opportunities to explore the house while he is distracted. And if that’s not enough for you, there are in-game cheats available that you can use.

Sneak up on your neighbor

All in all, Hello Neighbor Alpha 2 is a great game to try. With its improved physics, added content, and other features, you might even love playing this version than the full game. However, due to the amount of enhancement, expect to experience a few horrible—and sometimes funny—glitches. But, if you can get past a few lags, then, by all means, try to sneak up on your neighbor.
